Our Process
Here is a brief breakdown of our process:
-
Pre-Move Survey
Armstrong Scientific Transport begins their process with a pre-move survey. This is used to determine the extent of your lab and the contents of it. Based on the contents of your lab, we then follow a set of procedures; for hazardous materials, this could be special permits or an Emergency Response Assistance Plan.
-
Packing
Armstrong Scientific Transport uses specialized packing materials and techniques depending upon the nature of your equipment. First and foremost, we use a 3-part packing system which includes a primary leak-proof container, a secondary leak-proof container and a rigid outer packaging, all of which protect specimens during transportation.
At this point, our team will also follow the appropriate measures and protocols to the safe handling of all materials.

Transportation
Armstrong Scientific Transport takes a very hands-on approach when it comes to medical transportation management. That means that a crew member is always present with the equipment/specimens throughout the relocation process.
Load checks are also performed every 4 hours. These checks are verified by an electronic access system.
